SteelWork

We are able to offer Execution Class 2 manufacturing processes and experienced production staff to fabricate and build the following;

• All types of Series 1, Series 2 and UK Master Series parts in mild steel and stainless steel
• Planted (UC) universal column masts
• Universal Column (UC) bridges and masts with plate bases
• Parallel flanged channel (DC) portal bridges and masts with clamp, hinge or plate bases
• Square and rectangular hollow section masts
• Four angle masts and cantilevers

Small Part Steelwork (SPS) is also manufactured in-house and supplied;

• Pile adapter plates
• Stove pipes (drop tubes) in square hollow section or circular hollow section – straight or cranked
• Cleats, flats, back-ties, registration angles, termination brackets, welded units
• Anti-climb guards

Structural Steelwork

We are able to offer Execution Class 2 manufacturing processes and experienced production staff to fabricate and build structural steelwork to our client's specifications;

• Galvanised to BS EN 1461:2009
• Shot blasted & primer coat painted
• Each structural piece individually marked & quality controlled
• All structures CE certified

Permanent Way

Materials

We are able to offer;

• Turnouts and crossovers with fabricated or cast baseplates

• Spare switches, crossings and components

• Lever boxes, stretcher bars and tie bars (gauge bars)

• Hardwood timber crossing bearers and sleepers

• Hardwood 3rd and 4th rail protection “slipper” boards

• Grey and SG Iron components to EGI180, EGI220, EGI260, EGI300, 500/7 and 400/18L-20

Our in-house manufacturing processes are used to fabricate steel products such as;

• Buffer stops

• Type “R” and Type “D” concrete tie splices (for modular concrete bearer joints)

• Fabricated baseplates (slideplates, checkplates, common plates and crossing plates)

• Third rail electrification ramps

• Soleplates (gaugeplates)

• Switch anchor plates

general engineering

& Fabrications

We are general fabrication engineers and are able to produce products to our customer's designs and specifications.

We generally work with steel and stainless steel and do not process alloys and aluminium although are willing to consider this on a project by project basis.

Steel Fencing &

Pedestrian Guardrails

We manufacture guard railings to our client's specifications and also offer a range of industry standard panel sizes.

All manufactured in accordance with BS 7818:1995 "Specification for Pedestrian Restraint Systems in Metal"

• 50x30 RHS, typically 2m wide, with and without clear-sight panel at the top
• Vertical railings
• Bow top railings
• Playground railings

• Suitable single & double-leaf gate designs for all of the above
• Supplied with extended legs for concreting into position or with bases to bolt to concrete surfaces
